Toyota Switzerland AG invited the Swiss Transit Lab to present its pilot project at its headquarters in Safenwil on 19 October 2023. We met with great interest with our findings from "STL Line 13".

19.10.2023Rhyder" is a dual-mode vehicle based on a standard Toyota Proace Verso EV. It can be driven both manually like a normal car and automatically on a pre-programmed route. The choice of dual-mode technology appears to have proved its worth after almost 6 months of operation of the "STL Line 13". And with the Toyota Proace, we have a reliable, comfortable basic vehicle that fulfils our requirements perfectly.
We were therefore all the more pleased to have the opportunity to present our initial findings from "STL Line 13" at the Toyota Fleet Event 2023. Matthias Rödter and Dirk Apel from the STL Executive Board provided in-depth insights into the Schaffhausen pilot project and answered questions on the topic of autonomous driving in the subsequent workshops. Of course, "Rhyder", who made a trip from Mühlental to Safenwil especially for the event, was not to be missed.
